Our Interior Painting Process

We protect the room first, prepare the surfaces properly, then paint in the right order so the finish is clean, durable, and tidy when we leave.

1. Protect the Room
Remaining furniture is moved where practical and covered with plastic. Window furnishings are removed or protected depending on the job.

2. Cover Floors and Surfaces
Drop sheets are placed across the work area. Windows, trims, frames, fixtures, and adjoining surfaces are taped or protected where needed.

3. Patch, Sand and Prepare
Minor cracks, dents, holes, and surface imperfections are patched, sanded, dusted, and sealed where required before painting starts.

4. Paint Ceilings First
Ceilings are usually painted first. Any required undercoating or stain-blocking is completed before finish coats are applied.

5. Paint Walls and Trims
Walls receive the agreed coating system. Doors, frames, windows, skirting boards, and other woodwork are painted with the correct product for the surface.

6. Inspect and Touch Up
Before completion, we inspect the surfaces, check edges, and touch up anything that needs attention.

7. Clean Up and Walk Through
Protection is removed, the room is tidied, and we walk through the work with you before we leave.
